Possible Rumble Win For Becky Or Charlotte

The WrestleMania 35 main event is expected to involve Ronda Rousey and the Raw Women’s Championship, with Charlotte Flair once being a popular prediction to win the 2019 Royal Rumble to face Rousey at ‘Mania.

That is, of course, until “The Man” emerged after her SmackDown Women’s Championship loss at SummerSlam and started a program with Ronda Rousey for Survivor Series…which never got underway thanks to Nia Jax’s fist.

Becky is the favorite to face Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania after their heated back-and-forths, which have continued on Twitter. Lynch and Rousey have unfinished business, but the same can be said for Charlotte, who beat the hell out of Rousey at Survivor Series after electing to end the match in a disqualification.

If Asuka wins the SmackDown Women’s Title at WWE TLC 2018, then that clears either Becky or Charlotte to win the Rumble and face Rousey. Between the two options, Lynch is clearly the best bet to face Rousey when factoring popularity, but, well, we all know about Charlotte and winning things…

Of course, the prospect of both winning the Royal Rumble has to be considered, because Charlotte and Becky could pull a Bret Hart/Lex Luger to set up a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 35 against Rousey, which has also been rumored.

Either way, Asuka winning the title can both open up the SmackDown Women’s Division with a fresh champion and set Charlotte, Becky, or both up nicely for WrestleMania season.
