1. Dean Ambrose Interrupts Seth Rollins To Start Another Brawl
Last week, Seth Rollins’ segment was a bright spot on Raw. This week, that won’t be the case.
Instead, this week I expect Rollins to come down to the ring to cut another promo about his impending match against Dean Ambrose. Inevitably, this will draw the ire of Ambrose who will rush the ring to start another brawl between the two.
This time, I expect Rollins to get the upper-hand and send The Lunatic Fringe running.
While not the most intriguing segment at this point, it doesn’t seem like much else is planned for this rivalry. We haven’t really seen anything to develop any tension between the two beyond confrontations like this, so why should we expect anything different this week?
In the end, this Raw will have to do a lot to atone for the sins committed on last week’s episode. While I expect some course corrections to be made this week, I can’t wholeheartedly say I see Raw suddenly turning into a show with as much intrigue and excitement as SmackDown before TLC.
Ultimately, I believe our best bet is to ride it out and hope the brand turns it around for the usually intriguing Royal Rumble build.
