WWE Raw: Results, Review, and Grades for December 3rd
It’s Drew McIntyre Appreciation Night, and I am too scared to even question that decision.
I was cheering myself up with videos of kittens, so I missed the promo package for this, but yeah, out comes McIntyre.
Apparently, there’s some kind of box involved? Again, kitten videos. It’s a medal? I don’t know, man, I’ve got two more hours of this stuff to cover. Give me a break.
Drew McIntyre talks crap about the fans and people who engage on social media, and then he calls Finn Balor a boy in a man’s world, or something like that.
Dolph Ziggler comes out and is a little miffed he wasn’t included in Drew’s highlight reel, and then… they break up. McIntyre says that he essentially used Dolph to get to the top, and that Dolph should be grateful to Drew for making him relevant again.
Dolph of course doesn’t take too kindly to that, and he attacks Drew before retreating to the back. Baron Corbin calls him right out though, saying that if that’s the kind of crap he wants to pull, he can have a match against Drew right now.
Could you imagine this being one of the hottest possibly stories only a few months ago, and now it’s getting sped up so we can get it over with before TLC? What world is this.
Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler
Yep, Drew is totally throwing Dolph around like a literal rag doll, shouting all kinds of scary stuff.
I’m really just thrown that they chose to pull the trigger on this one right now. Why wasn’t this just booked as the match for TLC?
Either way, Finn Balor in making his way down to ringside as the carnage continues.
When we return from break, Dolph’s actually looking strong… until he gets caught in an Alabama Slam (that the camera cut away from).
Long story short, Finn gets Dolph get a distracted win over McIntyre!
Grade: I tried. It was cool. I’m doing this all for you, Damian. It’s all for you.
