WWE SmackDown Predictions: Becky Lynch Attacks Charlotte and Asuka

1. Charlotte and Asuka have a match, which Becky Lynch crashes

Now, not only will the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at TLC be history-making, it has all the opportunity in the world to be one of the most vicious matches on the card.

You’ve got Becky Lynch, who (no gimmicky puns intended) has been absolutely on fire in the second half of 2018. You have Charlotte, who’s back to her old heel ways, and then you’ve got Asuka, who has been chomping at the bit to get an opportunity like this since her last title shot at last year’s WrestleMania.

The simple question here is, how does WWE pace the build towards this match appropriately so that we’ll all totally jazzed by time the bells rings on the TLC match on the 16th?

The simple answer is, let them tear each other apart for the next two weeks, and let Becky Lynch start it all.

SmackDown is probably going to want to put up a high-profile women’s match this week that protects Becky Lynch from a loss until TLC… not that she’d lose at TLC, but you know. That would make a Charlotte vs. Asuka match highly probable for tomorrow night, in my opinion, because it’s the perfect match to get you immediately excited for the pay-per-view, and again, keep Becky Lynch out of action…

… at least technically out of action, because as we all know, Becky Lynch is always ready to prove why she’s at the top of the SmackDown Women’s Division. Becky Lynch will come out to remind both women exactly why she’s The Man ahead of TLC, and she’ll walk out of tonight’s SmackDown with her head (and her title) held high.
