3. WWE will finally pull the trigger on Orton vs. Mysterio for TLC

This was my number one prediction going into SmackDown last week, and to be honest, I’m really surprised it didn’t happen. As I said before, taking a luchador’s mask is a big deal, and Rey Mysterio should be apt to dish out some real consequences for Randy Orton.

However, instead what happened last week was the number entry in the Booking Randy Orton in 2018 Playbook. Orton simply attacked Mysterio after Mysterio ran out to the ring to defend himself as Orton promoed on his, Mysterio’s mask still in hand. Orton left Mysterio looking like a chump once again, and there was otherwise no real movement forward for this story.

If WWE doesn’t book Orton vs. Mysterio for TLC tonight, they what the heck are they doing building it up like this? At this point, there has to be something booked for these two at TLC, and if there’s not, then I’m really not sure what WWE is doing by allowed Rey Mysterio to get the crap beat out of him and not have a good opportunity to fire back.

At least, at least, this week we should see Mysterio get the upperhand on the sneak attacks, which would lead to booking a TLC match.
