1. Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax Feud Gaining More Traction
The Raw Women’s Championship was on the line at Money In The Bank a few months back when Nia Jax battled Ronda Rousey for the first time. In the upcoming final pay-per-view of the year, these two will have yet another battle with the Raw Women’s Championship at stake.
Since that Money In The Bank encounter, Rousey has gained the women’s title that she still holds and Jax has turned heel. Not only has Jax turned heel, but she has aligned herself with Tamina to create a powerful duo among the women’s division. Thanks to Jax’s battle royal win at Evolution, she earned the right to challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship, which will come at TLC.
The issues between The Irresistible Force and The Baddest Woman On The Planet were on display last night when Rousey was jumped from behind by Jax and Tamina in what was supposed to be a match to open up the show. Because of that development, the tag team match featuring those three took place in the main event with Rousey getting a different tag team partner.
Ember Moon joined Rousey in the main event and wouldn’t you know, the two managed to take care of Jax and Tamina. After an eclipse by Moon, Rousey locked Tamina into the armbar where she tapped out. The bigger picture involving this angle is Rousey vs. Jax part two is gaining more traction. It didn’t start out the greatest and felt a bit bland, but it’s gaining steam at the right time.
TLC is rapidly approaching and The Baddest Woman On The Planet has a big test in store with the face-breaking challenge of The Irresistible Force.
