Meanwhile, Miz is confused as to why he’s hosting an episode of Miz TV instead of working with Commissioner Shane McMahon. He’s still dying to be tag partners with Shane, but Shane wants Miz to probe Daniel Bryan for answers behind his new attitude.
Asuka and Charlotte vs. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville
Sonya and Asuka kick off the match, and Asuka over-extends Sonya’s arm after the two grapple in the middle of the ring. Mandy is tagged in, and Mandy and Sonya begin double-teaming Asuka before Asuka counters with strikes and a leaping dropkick out of the corner.
Charlotte gets tagged in to take over, and she gives Mandy a quick and harsh kick to the back. Charlotte suplexes Mandy and gives a kick to Sonya who rushes the ring, and then she dives out of the ring to hit Mandy.
Becky Lynch comes out from the back with her arms outstretched, just accepting all the love from the crowd. Charlotte begins screaming at her (all while she still has Mandy in her hands) that maybe should Becky should get in the ring and wrestle sometime.
When we come back from little-tv commercial, Mandy’s getting the upper hand on Asuka, and Becky Lynch could not care less as she watches from ringside. Mandy lands a huge knee to Asuka, but it’s not enough for her to seal a pinfall.
Asuka turns an Alabama Slam attempt into some kind of guillotine, and Asuka finally reaches the corner to tag Charlotte in. Sonya’s tagged in too. After some chops, a belly-to-back, and a huge spear from Charlotte, Charlotte accidentally knocks Asuka off the ring, and Asuka jumps in the ring to retaliate.
Sonya Deville takes advantage to get the pin over Charlotte.
Grade: Honestly great. Sonya and Mandy are getting so much better in the ring, and Charlotte and Asuka were phenomenal as always. Another great showing from SmackDown’s women.
