4. Mandy Rose And Sonya Deville vs. Charlotte Flair And Asuka

Two of the most underutilized, yet improved, superstars on the women’s roster have to be Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.   The former Absolution members have shown noticeable improvement over the past year, but it hasn’t always led to the most TV time.

Deville was one of the final two participants left in the recent battle royal on SmackDown that determined the final challenger for the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at TLC.  She didn’t forget how close she was when she, alongside Rose, interrupted the contract signing between Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka.

Both Rose and Deville got their opinions out there and Paige made a tag team match featuring the two against Charlotte and Asuka.  This turned out to be a solid match from start to finish with both sides looking impressive, but Rose and Deville really shined in this high-profiled tag team match.  It didn’t look good for them for a while, but miscommunication ultimately helped out their cause.

Charlotte accidentally hit Asuka off of the ring apron and Asuka didn’t take too kindly to it, responding by kicking Charlotte on purpose.  This led to Rose and Deville getting the big win in what has to be the biggest win they’ve had in a long time, maybe even since joining the SmackDown roster.

It’s nice to see talented and improved superstars getting a chance, and that took place last night when Deville and Rose knocked off The Queen and The Empress Of Tomorrow.
