2. Miz TV

Arguably the biggest story of 2018 in the WWE has been the reemergence and in-ring return of Daniel Bryan.  Not only did Bryan return from apparent career-ending injury woes, but over the past few weeks, his on-screen character has taken a drastic turn.

Nobody saw his return coming in the first place, but nobody saw his heel turn and WWE Championship win coming even more.  Many questioned how this villainous makeover would work given how much success he had as a babyface, but those doubters have seemingly been silenced with the outstanding heel work from Bryan.  That continued last night when Bryan was on Miz TV.

These two long-time rivals, now on the same side in terms of kayfabe, were bound to leave an impact, and they did so in a big way.  Bryan took out his frustrations on the WWE universe for polluting the earth with plastic water bottles and things of that nature in a masterful heelish act.  However, The Miz didn’t mince words and he called out Bryan for finally listening to what The Miz told him.

Miz told Bryan to admit that he finally listened and did whatever it took to get to the top.  Bryan wouldn’t do it and instead ranted more about the fans and everything else, but AJ Styles interrupted and charged at Bryan.  Things didn’t turn out well for The Phenomenal One, however, with The Miz hitting him with a Skull-Crushing Finale.  This was a great segment of Miz TV from start to finish.

It’s crazy to see Bryan and Miz inadvertently teaming up, but this new side of Bryan is even crazier, but so wonderfully done.
