5. Will we finally get a women’s tag team division in the WWE?

Nothing of relevance usually happens when Alexa Bliss is running a promo on Bayley and/or Sasha Banks. However, something changed this week with the inclusion of a minor detail. The entire open house segment with the crowd has been a disaster from the beginning. In fact it is so stale that something like that shouldn’t have been repeated in the first place.

Yet here we were this week with the same segment happening all over again, complete with the run-in from Mickie James and company. The only notable part from the entire (painful) ordeal was when Bayley and Banks were asked how they will change the Women’s division in 2019. Bayley answered by saying they want to become the first WWE Women’s tag team champions.

Talks about a women’s tag team division has been going on for a while now. There is enough talent in the roster to pull that off as of now. But Monday night was the first time something like this was said in front of the fans. Which isn’t bad at all. Of course, WWE will still need to figure out the details like will they have titles for both brands or just one title with a tournament that will crown the best duo in the WWE. How will the title be defended across brands then? These things need to be worked out.

Two sets of titles might expose the lack of depth in the division much like the men’s tag division on Mondays. However, as for Banks and Bayley, chasing after the tag titles as we head into WrestleMania will be quite intriguing. If they have to take on the duo of Nia Jax and Tamina in the finals of the said tournament, count me in.
