MLW Fusion Results, Highlights, and Grades: Rush Debuts
MLW Fusion: LIVE
Next week, MLW Fusion is LIVE for the first time on beIN Sports. I’ll have a full rundown of what you can expect from the Miami double-shot next week, but for now, let’s take a look at what we can expect from Friday night’s edition of MLW Fusion.
Making their Fusion debuts, Dragon Lee and DJZ will go head to head. If this is the first match on the show, MLW is doing it right. These two can pull in curious eyes perhaps watching Fusion for the first time ever, and for the MLW faithful this is just an absolute treat of a match which should get the crowd nice and hot for the rest of the show.
Coming off of a victory in an excellent match against Sammy Guevara tonight, Rush will look to roll on to another win against Rich Swann. Swann, well-known for putting in some star performances on 205 Live in the past, should mesh well with the style of Rush. The leader of Los Ingobernables will be looking to make a statement as he continues on his quest toward LA Park by leaving a trail of bodies in his wake.
In the main event, the MLW World Middleweight Title will be decided with Kotto Brazil, Dezmond Xavier, Andrew Everett, and Jason Cade in a four-way Ladder Match. What better way to close out a live show than an insane multi-person ladder match? With Xavier and Everett making their Fusion debuts here, the good money is on Brazil or Cade to take the win.
Cade needs to rebound from his loss to Teddy Hart from this week’s show while Brazil is riding a wave of momentum and looked to be positioned as the main foil to MJF in recent weeks. Can Kotto finally find himself at the top of the Middleweight Mountain in MLW, and how quickly will MJF come calling for whoever is the World Middleweight Champion after next week?
MLW Fusion airs LIVE next week on beIN Sports for the first time ever! Additional matches will be taped over the course of the two shows in Miami to be aired as part of the standard Fusion experience in the weeks to follow including Low Ki defending the MLW World Heavyweight Title against Konnan in a No Disqualification Match and Sami Callihan battling LA Park in a Falls Count Anywhere in Miami Match, plus loads more as MLW closes out a huge 2018.
