2. Bobby Lashley Smashes Elias With His Own Guitar

WWE’s resident guitar virtuoso played a tune on Lio Rush’s back last week on Raw. This week, Bobby Lashley will assuredly be looking to get some revenge on his manager’s behalf by taking out Elias before their match at TLC.

To start, I think one of the easier matches to predict this week will be the creation of some sort of tag match featuring Finn Balor and Elias teaming against Lashley and Drew McIntyre. After the match, I expect the heels to get some lasting revenge after Raw’s babyfaces got one over on them last week.

Also, considering this is the go-home show for TLC after all, I think it will be pretty obvious we will need to see some heels with the upper hand. That means Elias will be in for a taste of his own medicine this week, as Lashley smashes the guitarist with his own instrument after the aforementioned tag match.

When its all said and done, while this might not be the most exciting rivalry going into TLC, I think the matches between Finn Balor versus Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley versus Elias will have had fairly solid builds that were saved from their rocky starts.

The only thing that remains to be seen is whether or not that can be said for Baron Corbin’s build in those angles leading up to the pay-per-view. With a rather unique wrinkle being added to his storyline last week, perhaps this episode of Raw will shed some light on whether we should expect a thrilling conclusion to Corbin’s managerial abuse angle come TLC.
