Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler

First off, I don’t care that one was just made – I need another remake of Beauty and The Beast with Drew McIntyre as Gaston. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

These two start off their match like two spitfires, bouncing off the ropes, until Drew ultimately gets the upper hand. Drew chops at Dolph while he’s rolling around on the ground, all while screaming degradation at him.

Back from commercial, Drew is barely letting Dolph’s feet hit the ground. Drew lands a massive drop with Ziggler on his shoulders from the top rope, and after a superplex attempt at ringside, Dolph manages to finally send Drew flying towards the post.

Dolph lands a Zig Zag, and Drew ultimately wins with a Claymore. The match isn’t very long, but it had enough punctuations like that for it to not feel like a wasted match.

After the match, Drew attacks Dolph, driving him into the post and pummeling him outside the ring. A ton of refs (not included Our Favorite Ref Slater) all rush out to stop Drew, as as he looks like he’s turning to walk away, Drew lands a huge drop kick to Dolph’s face, knocking his head into the LED.

Grade: Not bad in and of itself, but we already know Drew’s unstoppable, even if he did lose to Dolph last week.
