1. Seth Rollins Is The Face Of Monday Nights

One could make the argument that Seth Rollins has been the superstar of the year in the WWE in 2018.  The Architect has been as consistent as any superstar in the company this year with stellar performance after stellar performance no matter what he’s been booked to do.

His recent feud with Dean Ambrose has been the biggest angle on Monday night since it started and, in many ways, it has been the only captivating feud on Raw lately.  Those two will settle their differences at TLC with Rollins’ Intercontinental Championship on the line, but Rollins had a big battle last night that had little to do with Ambrose.

The Architect opened up the show by serving as the voice of the people when criticizing the quality of Raw under the leadership of acting GM Baron Corbin.  Rollins managed to goad Corbin into a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match in the main event of the show, but the Intercontinental Championship would be on the line.  With Heath Slater as referee, Rollins and Corbin put forth a very good match.

This felt like it could have been on the actual TLC card, but the finish was almost disastrous for ‘The Architect’.  Rollins nearly lost the title due to Corbin having Slater in his pocket, but after Rollins took care of both men, he managed to retain his title in dramatic fashion.  Last night was just a further explanation as to why Rollins is the face of Monday nights.  He helps carry the red brand on most nights, and has been the one constant on Monday nights throughout this entire year.
