Nia Jax vs. Ronda Rousey

Nia picks up Ronda and tosses her to start off the match, but after that Nia has a hard time catching Ronda. Ronda gets jab at Nia’s face, before she lands some to her arm. Ronda kicks at Nia like she’s a punching bag before she goes fo the Arm Bar quickly.

Nia rolls out and picks up Ronda before a huge slam. Nia grabs Ronda by the hair hard and throws her towards the corner. Nia lands a huge elbow before an unsuccessful pin attempt.

Nia then throws Ronda shoulder-first into the ring post before she does it for a second time. Nia tries to go for a leg drop, but Ronda rolls out of the way. Ronda gets Nia in a guillotine, before she crawls up and over Nia and switches it into a headlock.

Ronda gets the Arm Bar locked in again, but Nia rolls out of the ring. Nia slams Ronda into the barricade as Tamina smiles and claps at the action from ringside.

Nia picks Ronda up for a powerbomb attempt, but Ronda reverses and heads for retreat in the corner. Nia gets tossed out of the ring, and Ronda climbs the ropes to dive out onto Nia with a Crossbody.

Ronda pushes Nia back into the ring and lands a step-up punch on Nia. Ronda goes for another crossbody, but Nia catches her and gets her with the Samoa Drop. Nia has Ronda up on her shoulders and she climbs the ropes, but Ronda flips over and gets Nia with a sunset powebomb!

Ronda gets Nia set up for the Arm Bar again, but Tamia tries to distract. Nia sets up for a right hook, but Ronda dodges it. She sets up the armbar again, kissing Nia’s facebreaking fist before locking it in and tapping Nia out.

Grade: A solid back and forth bout, when you consider how wonky the promos leading up to this were. Ronda keeps getting better and better, and Nia showed up with big powerhouse moves.
