Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio

Randy throws Mysterio out of the ring pretty much right away, and the two both grabs chairs and do the damn thing. They’re back inside the ring, but Mysterio’s the only one with a chair. He hits Orton with one a few times, until Orton gets Mysterio stuck on the ropes and starts laying into him with a chair.

Rey uses a chair as a gosh darn Slip ‘n’ Slide to hit Randy outside of the ring. Rey goes for a seated senton, but Randy falls out of his chair and Rey goes flying out passed the chair.

I kind of lose track of this match; there’s a lot of pause spots where someone’s down and the other sets up a mechanism of chairs. Randy sets one up in the ropes and tries to send Rey through it, but Rey counters and sends Orton through it instead.

Finally, Rey sets Orton up for a 619, but Randy catches Rey in air and throws him out of the ring. Rey dives out onto Randy, but Randy throws a chair at Rey.

Here we go, Orton’s in 619 position on the ropes again. Rey lands it this time, and Rey climbs the ropes, but Orton takes out Rey’s leg. Orton slams Randy into a chair face-first, and then he throws more chairs in.

Randy sets up three chairs and looks like he’s going to RKO Rey through them, but Rey knocks Orton back onto one of them and lands a very unique kind of head scissor on Orton before rolling him into the pin.

Grade: This one felt a little mind-numbing to me (even though I rallied hard for it), but I was not disappointed.

WOW, this PPV has been satisfying so far.

Backstage, Dolph Ziggler attacks Finn Balor, essentially for being ungrateful that he helped Finn win his match.
