Cesaro

Any discussion of the best athletes in WWE has to include Cesaro, who has made a name for himself as one of the best tag team wrestlers in the history of this company. That may seem hyperbolic, but his work with Tyson Kidd and Sheamus speaks for itself.

When Cesaro comes in on a hot tag, the place comes unglued, and his hot tag at Survivor Series 2016 should stand the test of time as one of the most electric moments in tag team wrestling. Cesaro is as creative as anyone in wrestling, and the same can be said for Ali, who has become famous among wrestling fans for his innovative spots, particularly in his stipulation matches on 205 Live against Buddy Murphy and Hideo Itami.

Watching these two different but equally impressive athletes trade moves would be a treat, and Cesaro and Ali could main event any SmackDown Live, with or without a title on the line. While Cesaro is locked in as a tag team wrestler, we’ve seen him compete in singles matches before, and it would be possible for these two to clash in, say, a No. 1 Contender’s match for the United States Championship.

But let’s be real here, calling for “dream matches” doesn’t require the explanation of any sort of logic, beyond simply describing why it would be so cool to see two particular competitors square off against each other. Ali and Cesaro are two of WWE’s best artists, and they would come up with some seriously memorable counters.
