On the episode of WWE Raw following TLC, Dean Ambrose called out Seth Rollins to no response, so he ended up facing Tyler Breeze in an “Open Challenge” for the prestigious Intercontinental Championship. Here are four more possible IC Title opponents for Dean.

Dean Ambrose became a three-time Intercontinental Champion at TLC, pinning Seth Rollins after a  rapid-fire “Dirty Deeds” to secure a defining victory. The win solidifies Dean’s heel turn, as he sees himself as the “Moral Compass” of WWE Raw.

Although heels doesn’t really offer up open challenges, Ambrose was in a giving mood on the Raw after TLC. After Rollins failed to respond to Ambrose’s harsh words, the IC Champion decided to offer up his title as a prize, and veteran superstar Tyler Breeze, who recently took on Ricochet in an electric matchup on NXT, responded to the call.

Ambrose and Rollins are still locked in one of WWE’s bloodiest feuds, and it will take us up to the Royal Rumble, perhaps even spilling afterwards (though Rollins is a Rumble sleeper and could win the Universal Championship at WrestleMania against the odds).

That said, Ambrose could continue to defend the IC Title, because who said heels have to be cowards? Renee Young referred to Ambrose as a “fighting champion” on commentary, and Dean is the type of guy who can break the mold and not be a cowardly heel; he’s too good for that.

So following that logic, here are four more possible Intercontinental Championship opponents for Ambrose in an “Open Challenge” setting, following his solid match with Breeze on last night’s Raw.
