1. Creative Direction Should Undergo A Complete Makeover Moving Forward

Raw has been on the air for over 25 years and has been the flagship show of the WWE for that entire timeframe.  The show has provided the WWE universe with some of the most memorable moments in WWE history, but as of late, the show hasn’t been anything close to the groundbreaking content it once provided.

There’s no other way around it, Raw has been immensely boring over the past couple of months.  And coincidentally, it has been showing in several record-low TV ratings throughout 2018.  A change of pace was desperately needed, and with the on-screen return of Vince McMahon opening up last night’s show, change was on the horizon.

Vince came out, but he wasn’t alone and he would be followed by Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, and Shane McMahon.  You knew something big would come out of this, and while nothing was specifically mentioned, the changes got off to a positive start.  Stephanie said they haven’t been doing a good job of providing the WWE universe with a good product on Monday nights, but that was going to change.

Triple H said the WWE universe was now the authority and the four in the ring would start giving the fans what they want.  He also said they were all taking over Monday nights and in the coming weeks and months, change would come in bunches.  Shane said this change would carry over onto SmackDown as well with new faces and fresh matchups taking shape.  The creative direction needs a complete overhaul moving forward, at least on the red brand.

This was a step in the right direction, but the powers that be in the WWE have to see this change through the whole way or else Raw will continue to suffer.
