4. Finn Balor

If WWE claims they’re going to listen to the fans, it’s only right that one of the beneficiaries of this new philosophy would be Finn Balor. Not only is Balor Club for everyone, but it often feels like everyone is for Balor Club. After spending most of the year as one of the most naturally over babyfaces on the main roster, Balor has finally started to taste success again.

For the majority of Baron Corbin’s reign on Raw, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre have been dominant forces on Mondays. They also had a strong reign as Raw Tag Team Champions, despite losing the belts to Ambrose and Rollins. Like them or not, there’s no denying the positioning those two have had on Raw in the final months of 2018.

With that in mind, Finn Balor’s interjection into the new split between Ziggler and McIntyre has been nothing but beneficial. Balor was on the receiving end of a Baron Corbin vendetta for some time, but now he’s completely changed the narrative. After weeks of just barely existing on Raw, Balor is riding high after two strong victories.

At TLC, Balor took on Drew McIntyre in a great singles contest. Drew looked like the favorite going in, and has been on a huge roll in the ring as of late, but it was Balor who picked up a sudden pinfall victory over The Scottish Psychopath with an assist from Dolph Ziggler. The method doesn’t matter in the record books, and it’s still a big win for Finn.

One night later, Balor took on Dolph Ziggler on Raw. He looked fully capable of picking up another big win, but Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring and got involved. Fortunately for Finn, he felt Drew’s first bit of interference. With McIntyre’s attack, Balor picked up a disqualification victory over Ziggler.

Next week on Raw, all three of these men face off in a triple threat match. If Finn can win again, he’ll have a ton of momentum headed towards the Royal Rumble, and he’ll have successfully used this fresh start to launch himself up the roster.
