3. Samoa Joe And Jeff Hardy Segment

A recent feud that has the WWE universe talking has been the issues between Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy.  These two all-time greats have dealt with each other in the past outside of the WWE, but this first feud under the WWE banner has immediately become personal.

It all started when Hardy was being celebrated for 20 years in the WWE a few weeks ago.  The celebration didn’t stop Samoa Joe from interrupting things and taking personal shot after personal shot at Hardy, whose inner demons have been well-documented over the years.  Joe’s shots continued past that point, but last night he was set to issue an “apology” to Hardy.

Of course, nobody expected him to actually apologize, and wouldn’t you know, there was no apology to be found.  Hardy called out Joe’s bluff and he wanted a face-to-face interaction with the man that has been calling him out for past transgressions.  Joe did come out, but he came out to say this wasn’t an apology, but rather an intervention for the troubled Hardy.

The Charismatic Enigma turned the tables on Joe, however, and said all he’s doing is hiding his own insecurities by calling out Hardy’s past.  He also said Joe is probably just upset that he’s been in the WWE for two years and still hasn’t won a championship.  That’s when Joe snapped and tried to attack Hardy, but it was countered into a Twist of Fate before Hardy got out of dodge.  This segment was good, but it was much too short and needed to go on longer.

Even with its shorter duration, this was a solid segment that helped out this feud in the long run with a pending match upcoming next week.
