Will EC3 make the most of his main roster call-up?

If it were up to EC3 alone, one can be assured that he would have been at the top of the WWE by now. But sadly that isn’t the case. He has the potential, skill set, charisma and the mic skills to be a major star in the WWE. However, so far things have not looked good for the ‘1%’. After returning to NXT earlier this year, EC3 is yet to have that one ground breaking performance.

It will be more accurate to say that he hasn’t been given an opportunity to do so. He has wrestled as a heel and a babyface during his short stint at the developmental center. But he is yet to make his mark. This week, WWE aired a video clipping showcasing all the new call-ups. It included the likes of Lars Sullivan, Heavy Machinery, Nikki Cross alongside EC3.

One thing I noted right away was that there was nothing special about the former NXT prospect Derrick Bateman. His character came off as generic as anybody despite all the charisma he possessed. If anything, I’d say at this moment EC3’s main roster call-up is evidently overshadowed by Lars Sullivan. Even Lacey Evans’s  video package had more content and character that what we saw of EC3.

Will creative be able to come up with long-term plans and efficient storylines for the one percent? Or will he get lost in the shuffle once again, disappointing himself and the fans in the process? Only time will tell.
