WWE: Predicting the First Championships for NXT’s Newest Call-Ups

Heavy Machinery, consisting of Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight, is a pair of talented big men (particularly the former), but one need only look at the manner in which AOP have been booked since arriving on the main roster to figure out that WWE have no interest in giving Raw a tag team division worth caring about.

On the other hand, the tag division on SmackDown possesses a decent amount of star power. The roster, while eternally focused on The Usos, The New Day, and The Bar, also boasts the likes of sAnitY and Gallows & Anderson. While tag teams on that brand could certainly be better booked, there is no question that there is sufficient star power.

As such, it seems to be for the best that any tag teams called up should appear on Raw in order to bolster a division that seems most weeks to be on the verge of flat-lining. With the indication from the most recent episode of Being the Elite that the Young Bucks opted not to sign with WWE specifically due to their treatment of tag teams, now seems as good a time as ever for Vince McMahon and co. to turn that ship around. Putting the Raw Tag Team Championships on a pair of young stars like Heavy Machinery seems like a fine place to start.
