Nikki Cross

It’s pretty odd that Nikki Cross hasn’t been called up yet. While the NXT Women’s Championship ultimately eluded her during her time between the yellow ropes, she was a key piece of the whole of sAnitY, and each seems lost without the other. While she did make one appearance alongside sAnitY a few weeks back, it ultimately went nowhere. Maybe it would be for the best for her to be separated from the stable, seeing as they are hardly ever given television time anyway, but, if this is the case, it’s hard to see where her character goes from here.

For this reason, it seems like a safe bet that Nikki will rejoin her old running mates on the SmackDown roster. While it would seem for now that the SmackDown women’s division already has as much star power at the top as it can handle, with Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Asuka dominating the main event scene, many signs point toward ta change in the near future.

With rumors suggesting that Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, or even both could be heading to Raw to challenge Ronda Rousey come WrestleMania season, vacancies are bound to open at the top of SmackDown‘s card. As such, it seems fair to say that if Nikki is going to capture any championship on the main roster, the SmackDown Women’s Championship is her best bet.
