3. EC3

If Tye Dillinger got the 10 treatment, it’s only fitting that EC3 gets to enter at #3 at this year’s Royal Rumble. I expect this to be a coming out party of sorts for the former NXT superstar. He should get a chance to showcase his personality, while spending a decent amount of time in the ring.

EC3 might be a long shot to actually win the entire thing, but he can definitely make a name for himself with an extended run in the match. This should be his WWE PPV debut and he’ll be able to quickly make a name for himself if he can toss out a few of his fellow superstars.

4. Randy Orton

Two-time winner Randy Orton will be a favorite in this year’s contest because of his experience and success in previous Royal Rumble matches. He most recently won back in 2017 before going on to beat Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. An Orton victory might not be the most inspiring choice this year with plenty of other options this time around.

5. No Way Jose

Every year there’s an act that enters the match and people wonder, “why? there’s no chance they will win”.

Last year Heath Slater was the guy. He took forever to actually enter the match, but when he eventually did, he picked up a huge elimination and the crowd ate it up. This year, No Way Jose can be that guy. People won’t expect him to actually win the entire thing, but he’ll put a smile on everyone’s face and it will be a nice opportunity for him to get some time on a big stage.
