Heath Slater vs. Jinder Mahal

We’ve got a little Christmas Eve Three Man Band reunion here, as Jinder Mahal will take on Heath Slater, whose brief and inglorious career as a referee under the “watchful” eye of Baron Corbin has come to an end. Slater is back in action, wants nothing more than to see Rhyno back, and is ready to take it to his former 3MB teammate.

Mahal quickly goes to work on Slater’s arm, and the beloved Slater is having a rough time against Jinder. The match gets interrupted by Santa Claus throwing presents into the crowd,  and the distraction nearly leads to a win for Slater before the Singh Brothers interfere to cause a disqualification win for Slater.

Jinder puts the boots to Heath, but Santa decides to interrupt the match to huge chants. Santa starts cleaning house, tossing the Singh Brothers out of the ring before meeting up with Heath and hitting GORE on Jinder.

Rhyno is back! And you have your feel-good moment of the show! Heath got his wish of having Rhyno back for Christmas!

Grade: B-, I love feel-good moments, and it was great to see the 3MB reunion with Rhyno back in the ring! Does this mean the two will be back together as a tag team? We’ll see if we get more of an indication next week on WWE Raw.
