WWE SmackDown Predictions: AJ Styles’ Public Apology To Vince McMahon

1. AJ Styles SmackDown woes continue as Vince McMahon refuses to accept an apology for Styles’ attack last week

AJ Styles has had a rough couple of weeks on SmackDown.

He lost his WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan, has been attacked multiple times by Bryan, and lost his temper when Vince McMahon tried to bring out his intensity.

Now, Styles will attempt to get on the right track by publicly apologizing to Vince McMahon for attacking him last week. Unfortunately for Styles, McMahon will have none of it.

McMahon will say that attacking him was exactly the kind of cold and heartless action he wanted to see from Styles. In fact, he wants Styles to punch him again if it brings out the darkness in the former champ.

That will leave Styles more conflicted and confused than ever. In the face of all of the terrible events that have occurred to him in recent weeks, Styles will leave this week’s SmackDown more conflicted than ever, likely after taking McMahon up on his offer and punching him once again.

Currently, I would call this the most intriguing angle in WWE today. There are so many options for where this story can be taken, that we can only wait and see where WWE decides to go with it.

If I had to guess, wherever it goes, we won’t see the full payoff for it until Royal Rumble. That means everyone should get used to the emotional roller-coaster we will likely see Styles on starting this week.

What I do know for certain though is that I, for one, can’t wait to see where this angle, and the rest of SmackDown Live’s exciting storylines go in 2019!
