24. Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks had a quiet 2018 when it comes to her standards, but that doesn’t mean 2019 will be the same. Even though she didn’t hold gold in 2018 either, Banks consistently put forth solid matches no matter what situation she was thrown into.

She still has to be considered one of the best workers on the roster, and has the ability to go all the way in the Royal Rumble.

With the announcement that Women’s Tag Team Titles are on the way, everyone is assuming Banks and Bayley are heading toward competing to become the first champions in that division, but what if a change in heart for Banks leads to her breaking out at the second Women’s Royal Rumble at Chase Field?

Banks has the ability to win the event, as evident by her making up 1/4 of the final four in last year’s match. As much as we’d all like to see the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection capturing gold together, seeing The Boss return to elite status with a trip to the main event at WrestleMania sounds even sweeter.

25. Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus shocked everyone when she entered the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble at the #30 spot. She won’t be able to duplicate this year, since Carmella earned the coveted final spot, but a Trish entry of any kind would be more than enough.

Trish has proven, most recently at Evolution, that she can still go and she still has the ability to win over the audience. Widely considered one of the best women to compete in the WWE, Trish has to be considered as a favorite in this year’s contest.

Even though it might be better for someone that’s a staple on the main roster such as Sasha Banks or Bayley to win, Trish would have a perfectly acceptable reason for entering AND winning the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble.

She’s got the championship reigns, she’s main evented Raw, she competed in the first Women’s Royal Rumble and first Women’s PPV, but actually winning the Royal Rumble would be the icing on the cake.

26. Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose and Naomi have been engaged in one of the more personal storylines on SmackDown Live, as Rose has attempted to get under Naomi’s skin with advances toward her husband, Jimmy Uso.

Rose has succeeded in getting Naomi’s attention, but hopefully in the Women’s Royal Rumble, she’s able to back up her talk while showcasing her abilities inside the ring.

Rose hasn’t had much luck in these types of matches in the past, as she was the first woman eliminated in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble in 2018.

It would be tough not to improve this time around, so hopefully Rose can show people that she can hang with the best of them.

27. Naomi

A sleeper pick in this year’s bout, Naomi has the tools and experience needed to surprise with everyone with a Royal Rumble victory. The former champion won the first WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal so we know she has what it takes to deliver in an over-the-top rope competition.

The prospect of her getting a rematch with Asuka at the Show of Shows is an exciting one to think about.

Unfortunately, the one thing that might hold back Naomi from winning the entire thing is Mandy Rose. Whether she likes to admit it or not, Naomi has allowed Rose to get inside her head and that could ultimately cost her at the Royal Rumble.

However, if Naomi can use her frustration to motivate her, it might be exactly what she needs to eliminate Rose enroute to victory.
