Best: LAX vs. Lucha Bros was straight fire

Two of my “best moments” here will be entire matches, because these two matches stood above the rest.

Don’t get me wrong, every match at Homecoming was great. Even the ones with hiccups were must-see matches that just had a few bumps along the road. However, two matches featured so many great moments that it’s just too hard to pick a single spot. LAX and Lucha Bros came in with plenty of respect for each other, but they didn’t hold anything back.

The match had barely gotten started and we were already seeing death-defying moves and unforgettable tag team chemistry. There was a lot of hype going into this match about it being a “dream match” between two of the best tag teams in the industry. Both teams knew that, and boy did they ever bring it.

Possibly the most amazing sequence of the match came when Santana blocked a hurricanrana and caught Fenix. Rather than following it up with a powerbomb, he leaned back and used all of his momentum for a thunderous alley oop that slammed Fenix into the mat. Ortiz followed it up with a splash and a pinfall, but Pentagon Jr. somehow proceeded to break up the pinfall and simultaneously leap into a Canadian Destroyer on Santana!

All of these unbelievable moments are just a taste of what this match gave us. It was one of the most high-octane and best tag team matches I’ve seen in quite some time, and it’s a must-see for fans.

LAX finally managed to put away The Lucha Bros and prove they could do it without Konnan at ringside. Konnan made his way down to the ring after to congratulate his boys on retaining, and all four men on a spectacular match.
