Flamita

Much of the professional wrestling industry is talking about the move that Ring of Honor made to bring in Bandido. They were able to outbid multiple promotions, including the WWE, to sign the 23-year-old wrestler after he left the All In showcase as one of the hottest names to watch. Well, if Bandido is off the market to sign to a contract with AEW, the organization should go after his frequent tag team partner; Flamita.

Now, in no way shape or form is this a downgrade. Flamita is widely considered to be one of the top high-flyers in the industry today. The 24-year old, Mexico City native has been compared to legends such as Rey Mysterio and the praise has come from some of the most prominent names in the pro wrestling world. His resume includes a list of championships, mostly tag team title reigns, across companies such as Progress, Dragon Gate and The Crash. But he has also won some individual titles along the way. Flamita may not be as widely known to the mainstream fan, but he has appeared in such companies as PWG, AAA, and Lucha Underground under the name Night Claw.

Flamita’s style would fit perfectly in AEW with others who have continued to push the standard of wrestling matches today. His high-paced and aerial attack would give the AEW roster a name that could put together highlight-reel spots at a moment’s notice. It would be interesting to see what Flamita could do as a singles wrestler, but he could always be paired with someone else in the future to build another stellar tag team. Flamita is the type of steal that could benefit from his colleague Bandido going to ROH and AEW would greatly benefit if they found a way to add him to their roster.
