MJF

Everyone loves a great heel, but Maxwell Jacob Friedman is becoming the heel that every fan loves to hate. MJF is one name that has been picked up by MLW in recent months, but if partnership opportunities become available between MLW and AEW, he is one name that should be brought in to appear in the new promotion.

Pro wrestling is an industry that is built on a competitor’s ability to get over in two ways: in-ring action, and personality. MJF is a good wrestler, but his character exudes from every movement of his body, facial expression and word delivered over the microphone. At just 21-years of age, MJF has positioned himself as a special talent to watch soon. His character is one that’s been seen in the past; privileged, arrogant, deceitful and a list of other adjectives; but that has not made MJF stale in any sense of the word. In fact, he reminds many of two cult favorites in The Miz and EC3.

While MJF has worked for a variety of popular independent organizations such as Beyond Wrestling and CZW; his appearance and match with Matt Cross at All In drew a lot of attention in his direction. Even though that match was an afterthought when all the action was said and done; it was enough to show people that MJF is someone that could deliver as a character in the future. Imagine MJF going line for line against the likes of Cody, The Young Bucks of Adam Page; those are the types of pairings that would help elevate everyone involved. He’s a champion of the future and those main event reigns can easily come as a part of the All Elite Wrestling roster.
