2. The Bar vs. The Usos

Sheamus and Cesaro have been in control of the SmackDown Tag Team Championship over the past few months.  The Bar has found the ultimate tag team success on both Monday nights and Tuesday nights, but its reign is always in jeopardy given the deep talent pool the blue brand has in its tag team division.

One team nipping at The Bar’s heels has been The Usos, one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history.  Last night saw a tag team match between The Usos and The Bar and if Jimmy and Jey got the win, they would earn a SmackDown Tag Team Championship opportunity at the Royal Rumble.  It was a high stakes match and both teams treated it as such.

Every time these two teams get together, they tear the house down with superb chemistry and that trend continued yet again.  In a pay-per-view caliber tag team match, it appeared as if The Usos were in control to pick up the win towards the end.  However, the recent development of Mandy Rose reared its beautifully-disruptive head again.

Rose came out wearing a towel and asked Jimmy if she left her clothes in his hotel room.  That distraction was enough for Cesaro to catch Jimmy by surprise and get the win for The Bar.  The Miz came out after the fact and challenged The Bar for a SmackDown Tag Team Championship match at the Royal Rumble with his new partner Shane McMahon, which The Bar agreed to after Sheamus kicked The Miz’s teeth down his throat.

The unorthodox finish took a little away from this match, but it was still an overall great match between two elite tag teams.
