LuFisto

LuFisto is the undeniable queen of independent women’s wrestling. A Canadian powerhouse with over twenty years of experience, she isn’t kidding when she says she’s the first to do everything.

Lu gained notoriety early on for being a female wrestler willing to participate in hardcore matches, but quickly became renowned for her undeniable talent as well as her willingness to push boundaries for women in the wrestling world.

Her career is a list of firsts for women in various promotions: first IWS female champion to win a male belt, first CZW Iron Man Champion, and so on.

Despite numerous health problems and other setbacks, she remains a sought-after talent and you can still see her tearing it up in promotions across North America.

She’s a particular fan favorite at SHIMMER, and seeing her do her burning hammer in person is worth the trip to Berwyn. If you love tough, badass women who can do power moves, cut incredible promos, and tear the roof off every time they step in a ring, LuFisto is your woman.

LuFisto’s incredible career alone would be enough reason for AEW to be interested in her. But beyond that, she would bring a vital array of skills into their women’s division.

Nobody knows women’s wrestling like LuFisto. She has worked as a trainer at multiple promotions, and she could provide vital guidance to AEW on building storylines and developing newer talents.

Consider how WWE’s NXT trainees have benefited from Sara Amato’s work, or the many women who were able to cut their teeth with Mercedes Martinez in SHIMMER and RISE. LuFisto could be AEW’s secret weapon for a killer division if they gave her the right role.
