NXT UK: 4 Possible Rivals For Toni Storm As Champion

The former wXw star has always been highly touted by wrestling fans, but WWE fans weren’t introduced to Killer Kelly until the Mae Young Classic 2. She shined brightly in her match with Meiko Satomura, and while she could not overcome her more experienced opponent, Kelly impressed the WWE Universe and the promotion itself, earning an NXT UK deal.

Kelly is one of the most intense wrestlers on the planet, and she absolutely looks like a fighter. With heavy strikes and lovely suplexes, Kelly is a machine in between the ropes and would bring the fight out of Toni Storm in a different way, giving Storm a unique type of challenge inside the ring,.

We haven’t seen Kelly showcased nearly enough on the UK brand, which is a shame and might make it difficult to see her as Storm’s next challenger. It would be “out of the blue” for her to suddenly emerge as a title contender without her being built up, but the UK brand hasn’t done a great job of building up everyone in the women’s division due to their shorter matches.

That must change in the near future for NXT UK, and assuming it does, Kelly is a name to watch for the growing brand, despite an 0-2 record with losses to Isla Dawn and Nina Samuels.
