Shane’s Birthday

The Miz is here to throw Shane McMahon’s “Bestie Bash” tonight, and, uh, this will go well…And we did get off to a good start when Miz spotted a “Happy Birthday Shane” sign, high-fiving the fans responsible for the sign.

He went all out with this celebration, too. I mean, those cakes looked pretty dang good. And I doubt Miz went cheap with those four presents either, so let’s see what he has in store for Shane’O’Mac.

Well, Shane seems excited, and it looks like they have all the respect in the world for each other already. Plenty of smiles to go around for the birthday boy, who received enthusiastic chants from the WWE Universe.

Jordan 33’s as the first present? Shane was sure as hell geeking out!

The second present? A pretty sweet video package of all of Shane’s crazy moves…which then turned into Miz gloating about the Best in the World trophy. But Shane thanked Miz for the video package and for opening himself up about his relationship with his father.

And now Shane wants to share! He said he that he always dreamed about being tag partners, stating that Andre The Giant was going to be his first partner, but now he’s proud to be Miz’s partner.

Miz starts singing “Happy Birthday”, and Sheamus and Cesaro mercifully save our ears from the carnage. Sheamus tells Miz that it’s embarrassing that they weren’t invited to the “Birthday Bash”, and he adds that Vince didn’t even care enough about Shane to show up!

We end up getting a match between The Miz and Sheamus! Sure, Miz is dressed up in a suit and didn’t want the match initially, but Shane praised him enough.

Also, I’m really disappointed we’re getting this instead of Carmella vs. Sonya Deville. I was looking forward to both of them tearing it up.

The Miz vs. Sheamus

Miz and Sheamus start going at it, and Miz has to worry about Cesaro trying to cause distractions on the outside, in addition to the cake and Best in the World trophy laid out on the table.

Cesaro interferes, but he pays for it when Shane viciously throws Cesaro into the table full of cake. Incensed, Sheamus tries to charge at Shane, but Miz rolls him up. And Miz pinned one half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions!

Sheamus started putting the boots to Miz, but Shane had his back! Miz then hit Sheamus with a Skull Crushing Finale, and they both moved him in position for a Coast to Coast. And it was a Coast to Coast with a cake in front of Sheamus! Shane hit it, sending cake flying over Sheamus as Miz stuffed more cake in Sheamus’s face.

Grade: B, I’m loving this bromance, and the match afterwards was a hilarious way to send the fans home happy. Everything The Miz touches ends up being outrageous fun.
