3. AJ Styles Segment

The emergence of The New Daniel Bryan has caught everyone by surprise in the WWE universe over the past couple of months.  This new side of Bryan has changed everything on Tuesday nights, leading to his reign as WWE Champion, much to the chagrin of AJ Styles.

Styles has undergone a bit of a transformation himself over the past few weeks after being challenged by Mr. McMahon.  Thus, The Real AJ Styles was born.  The Phenomenal One will get another shot at regaining the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble when he takes on Bryan, but last night was about proving a point.

After Bryan’s recent actions in the concession area where his holier than thou attitude tried to tell fans how to live, Styles responded by going to the concession area of the arena last night.  Styles said fans pay their hard-earned money to come to these events, so they should be able to buy and eat whatever they want.  He then proceeded to throw out countless shirts from the merchandise stand to fans before chaos ensued.

Bryan was disguised as a fan and would attack Styles, leading to a mini-brawl of sorts between the two.  It culminated with Styles driving Bryan through a table covered with the hot dogs that Bryan deemed so despicable the previous week.  This was an impactful, hard-hitting segment that helped this feud out in the long run, even if the segment was pretty short all things considered.

Duration aside, this was a solid way to counter Bryan’s recent actions and further this feud heading into the Royal Rumble.

Final Grade: B+
