3. What is Randy Orton up to?
It has been a couple of weeks since Randy Orton did anything. In fact, if I recall correctly, the Viper was last seen getting pinned by AJ Styles, during a Fatal 5-Way match to determine the new number one contender for the WWE title.
Orton is yet to appear on SmackDown ever since. Something tells me The Viper is just taking his time to strike at the right moment so that it hurts the most. A Viper never forgets.
The Phenomenal One took him out and took away his chance to challenge Bryan once again and add more history to their rivalry. It is highly unlikely and uncharacteristic of Orton to simply let go of the fact that he was pinned by Styles. In fact, I will not be the least bit surprised if Orton makes his presence felt at the Royal Rumble.
No, I do not mean the Rumble match itself either. I expect Randy Orton to pop back from out of nowhere, just as AJ Styles is about to win the WWE Championship back from Bryan.
Orton’s attack will ensure that Daniel Bryan retains his title, and continues his entertaining heel turn. Subsequently, it will set the road to WrestleMania for two great in-ring talents in Orton and Styles to set fire to a rivalry that is fresh, to say the least.
