2. Will Balor bring out The Demon to tame The Beast?

Finn Balor defeated three imposing men to earn his shot at facing Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. Earlier in the night, Balor had to make his case to be included in the match to Vince McMahon, who said he didn’t believe Balor had the size and strength to go toe-to-toe with someone like Lesnar.

A resilient Balor first earned his spot in the match by defeating Jinder Mahal and then overcame both pain and fatigue to pin the biggest name in sports entertainment, John Cena. The question on everybody’s mind now is what will Balor do at the Royal Rumble. His encounter with Lesnar is nothing short of a dream match the fans have been clamoring for a long while.

Now that it is finally here, what will Balor do? There is no doubt that he will follow in the footsteps of AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan and craft a great match with Lesnar. But will he bring out The Demon once again to confront the Beast Incarnate? It has been quite a while since Balor brought out his Demon self.

But there is a catch though. The Demon is an undefeated entity in the WWE. If he brings out the character against Lesnar, creative should make sure that Balor leaves the arena with the Universal Championship. The question is, will the WWE show the courage to do it?

Brock Lesnar ended the Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak. Will he eye The Demon’s undefeated streak now? Creative can easily build anticipation for this match with a simple promo directed at this fact next week.

The question still remains a matter of concern though. Will The Demon make an appearance at the Rumble? If creative decides to go down that path, they should make sure to put the title on Balor. Instead, if he is merely a namesake challenger for Lesnar, don’t even think about The Demon. It is far too special to be used as a tool to make Lesnar seem even more dangerous.
