“The Warrior Goddess” Azteca

  • @wow_azteca

Born in the Philippians to parents of Chinese and Spanish descent, Azteca is one of six foreign born Superheroes in WOW, but she’s no stranger to professional wrestling. Making her debut in January of 2015, this four year pro has wrestled all over the country, and has even made several appearances on Impact Wrestling specials under her more familiar name, Gisele Shaw. Last year, Azteca was ranked #91 in the PWI Top 100 Females list, placing her ahead of the WWE’s Peyton Royce and Alicia Fox.

The Beast

From the Darkest Shadows of Your Nightmares comes our third of four Superheroes to make her debut with WOW at the LA Comic Con, where she defeated fellow rookie, Faith The Lioness. One of, if not the, purest athlete in professional wrestling, The Beast ran track and played basketball in high school, before becoming a black belt and certified instructor in Krav Maga, and an IFBB Pro body builder. She warns the other WOW Superheroes, “Whatever you give to me, I’ll give back twice as hard!”

And now for the WOW Ring Announcer:

Shaul Guerrero

The Third Generation Diva retired from professional wrestling back in April of 2014 when, as Raquel Diaz, she was released from NXT. A three year pro at that point, the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero chose a different path in life to take, becoming a burlesque dancer in Chicago, known as Miss Nyxon. With season five of WOW beginning, it will mark Guerrero’s return to television, but this time in a new role, that of ring announcer.

Guerrero steps into this new role as she has all her other roles, and that is with the love and support of her husband, WWE Superstar Aiden English. Guerrero, a former singer and model on top of everything else, has also signed a contract to be a part of Lucha Underground, debuting on the season four finale, and replacing Melissa Santos as their ring announcer.
