Granted a “fight release program” by the Nevada State Penitentiary, Caged Heat made their debuts on the very first episode of WOW back in October of 2000. On January 20, 2001, Caged Heat defeated Harley’s Angels [Charlie Davidson & EZ Rider] to become the first ever WOW Tag Team Champions, a title they held for a record 4,382 days!!
After controversial finishes against The All-American Girls [Amber O’Neal & Santana Garrett], the titles were vacated. In season four, Caged Heat won a rematch with the All-American Girls to advance in a tournament to crown new champions, when O’Neal betrayed her partner.
The tournament was abandoned in season four, and no new champions were crowned, but Caged Heat hopes season five may see a return of the titles, and a new reign as champions.
Outside of WOW, Delta Lotta Pain is a very successful actress and stunt woman.
In fact, she became the first African-American female to be credited with over 100 films, television shows and commercials. Most recently she can be seen as Saundra in the Netflix show “Naked,” and also has her masters degree in psychology.
The Psycho Sisters [Fury & Razor]
- Fury – @wow_fury
- Razor – @razor_wow
- Razor – @SarahTheRebel
Two rookies, both with less than a full year of experience in professional wrestling, have found their kindred spirits in one another. The Psycho Sisters may come from different backgrounds, but when they’re together, they have one goal in mind; destruction and mayhem.
With face paint inspired by The Heavy Metal Sisters [Spike & Chainsaw] from the original GLOW, The Psycho Sisters are the most vicious girl gang on the block, who use their range and anger to fuel their street fighting skills.
Outside of WOW, Fury was trained by Robert Gibson of the Rock ’n Roll Express, and is a professional makeup artist who has wrestled for Beyond and SHIMMER as Harlow O’Hara in the past.
Razor, on the other hand, is a huge fan of video games and geek culture, with her own wrestling podcast! As Sarah Wolfe, she debuted along side her now boyfriend, Tyler Bateman, in Championship Wrestling From Hollywood as his manager.
Razor is also the first, and so far only, woman to graduate from the New Japan Los Angeles dojo, so you “Don’t %^$@ with Razor!”
The Vengeful Vixens [The Temptress & The Dagger]
- Debut (Temptress) 11-18-16 (vs. Khloe Hurtz)
- Debut (Dagger) 1-27-17 (vs. The Temptress)
- Record (Temptress) 0-2 (0.000)
- Record (Dagger) 1-1 (0.500)
- Temptress – @katarinasinfamy
- Dagger – @wow_dagger
Two women, two completely different backgrounds, one common goal. Brough together by Sophia Lopez, The Vengeful Vixens are both looking for a way to go back at society who has wronged them.
Dagger’s husband died under mysterious circumstances, many believed she was to blame, as her collection of knives she calls her “children” are a prominent part of her life. However, Sophia was able to get Dagger cleared of all charges, and brought her to WOW to rehabilitate her image.
The Temptress was a former seamstress, making the most luxurious garments for people in Europe. When she brought her business to America, she was betrayed by corrupt business who took her profits for herself.
For her, professional wrestling marks a new beginning to get away from the corruption and greed. Sophia Lopez introduced the two women, figuring correctly that their need for vengeance would drive them to be a force to be reckoned with in the WOW tag team division.
Before becoming a WOW Superhero, Dagger was a rebellious teenager who later trained in Muay Tai boxing and MMA, and uses both well in the ring.
The Temptress, you may recognize, from her time in Impact Wrestling and WWE. In WWE she was Katie Lea Burchill, sister to Paul Burchill.
In Impact Wrestling, she’s a former Knockout’s and Knockout’s Tag Team Champion, back when she wrestled under the name Winter. Now, she’s one of three Knockout’s to also be working WOW, as she wrestles there under the name Katarina.
