Kobra Moon

The Queen on Snakes comes to WOW from Tijuana, Mexico, by way of Oakland, California. One of two personas she has, the other being Thunder Rosa, Kobra is the only masked luchador in WOW, making her a truly unique Superhero.
As a four year pro, Kobra is a relatively new development in her life, as most of her time in the ring was as Thunder. Thunder Rosa is also one half of the tag team Twisted Sisterz with fellow WOW Superhero Holidead.
As Kobra Moon, however, she is a mainstay in Lucha Underground, as she not only wrestles there, but she also manages the rest of the The Reptile Tribe. Currently, as well as being SHINE Tag Team Champions with Holidead, Kobra Moon is Lucha Underground Trios Champions with Daga and Jeremiah Snake (aka Sami Callihan). Kobra Moon was also ranked #43 in the 2016 PWI Top 50 Females List, the only time she has made their list in her short career.

Raised playing sports, Maverick was the tomboy of her family who had a very close relationship with her father. After he passed away, Abilene wasn’t sure what to do with her life, but turned to professional wrestling as a way to make her father proud. After being trained by former WWE Superstar Funaki, Abilene (aka Barbi Hayden) set out to do just that.
Since her debut in September of 2010, Maverick has wrestled for SHINE, Ring of Honor, the NWA, TNA Wrestling, and even had a dark tryout match during the first WWE Mae Young Classic. Her career highlights include being a four time and current NWA Lonestar Women’s Champion (won 9/14/12), being one of the first two women to have a televised match in China (vs. Tessa Blanchard), and being the youngest woman to ever win the NWA Women’s World Title (age 23 on 1/25/14).
Despite all her globe-trotting, Abilene still makes time for family dinners and to catch Dallas Cowboy games with those people closest to her. Abilene has been ranked in the PWI Top 50 Females List in 2014 and 2015, reaching as high as number 12 in 2014.
