WWE Royal Rumble: 3 205 Live Superstars We’d Love To See

 The WWE Royal Rumble will be filled with surprise returns, debuts, and more, but how about some 205 Live superstars competing with members of the main roster for an opportunity to fight for a title at WrestleMania?

Over the past several weeks, Mustafa Ali has made a great impression on wrestling fans as a member of the SmackDown Live roster. In fact, not only did Ali pin WWE Champion Daniel Bryan in a tag match and defeat Andrade “Cien” Almas in singles competition, but he’s also set to compete in the WWE Royal Rumble.

Ali’s booking and impressive performances on SmackDown could help lead the way for other 205 Live superstars to move up to the main roster. We could see a few surprise appearances (or even debuts!) from the 205 roster in this year’s Men’s Rumble, if Ali’s emergence on The Blue Brand is any indication.

So let’s take a look at three superstars from The Purple Brand who could realistically show up and compete in the Rumble match. Of course, nobody would expect any of these three men to actually win the 30-man match, but it’s all about making an impression. Adam Cole and Almas, for example, shined in last year’s Rumble despite being NXT superstars.

It’s about time 205 Live got to send some wrestlers as representatives of their brand in this year’s Rumble match. Even if only one man shows up, that could be enough to help reenforce the notion that the Cruiserweight Division’s wrestlers are for real.
