2. Goldberg

I have to admit, I didn’t expect one of the superstars on this list to be a former Universal Champion, but here we are.

Goldberg is one of the most exciting and explosive superstars in WWE history. He has an ability to capture the crowd’s attention like few people who have ever stepped foot in a wrestling ring.

That’s the perfect quality for a surprise Royal Rumble entrant.

As evidenced by his aforementioned run with one of the company’s top belts in early 2017, Goldberg is still more than capable of being the dominant force we all remember from his days in WCW. In fact, Goldberg actually made a thrilling appearance in the 2017 Royal Rumble match in the build-up to that championship run.

Goldberg should replicate that same exciting run this year in the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble match.

Despite his still recent WWE return, Goldberg has yet to square off with many of the superstars fans would love to see him in the ring against. Superstars like Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe, or Big E would all be able to rival the intensity and power that Goldberg brings every time he steps foot in the ring, making them ideal superstars to square off against him in the Royal Rumble match.

A clash of two powerhouses like that would beyond a doubt become one of the most talked about moments from this year’s Royal Rumble event, making Goldberg one of the legendary superstars who should make their epic return at the show.
