MLW Fusion Results, Highlights, and Grades: Callihan vs LA Park
MLW SuperFight & Fusion LIVE
Next week will see a double-dose of Major League Wrestling on beIN Sports as Friday night’s regular broadcast will feature one more singles clash between Brian Pillman Jr and Tommy Dreamer. The two have faced off in a standard singles match and a Singapore cane match in recent weeks, but next week they’ll collide in an Empty Arena Match. What will each man bring to the table before their mystery partner clash in Philadelphia?
On Saturday night, MLW presents another edition of Fusion LIVE from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The episode will be headlined by the World Heavyweight Title match between Low Ki and challenger Tom Lawlor. This match has been building over the past 7 months and will finally come to a head with a rabid live audience as well as a live television audience watching at home.
The Lucha Bros, back in action after Fenix’s recovery from injury, will finally defend the World Tag Team Titles against The Hart Foundation. This match was initially set for the Miami double-shot but was tabled to allow the injured Fenix the time he needed to bounce back after suffering a groin injury in November.
Which combination of The Hart Foundation will square off with Penta and Fenix in Philadelphia? Teddy Hart has already claimed gold in MLW with the World Middleweight Title, but will he be looking to add more to his collection? Or, will rookie Brian Pillman and tag team specialist Davey Boy Smith Jr look to round out the trio with titles of their own?
In addition to the live broadcast, SuperFight will also feature a host of other must-see matches for MLW’s first show of the year. Kotto Brazil seeks revenge on Ricky Martinez in a Grudge Match, Puma King locks it up with Gringo Loco, Simon Gotch looks to redeem himself against Ace Romero after suffering a loss in his Prize Fight Challenge weeks back, Rich Swann and Ace Austin meet in a battle of middleweights, and MJF makes his MLW return plus much more!
