A Message For Rey Mysterio
Zelina Vega comes out to diss Rey Mysterio for having to face Andrade without her at ringside last week, asking Rey if he’s really that distracted by her. It was another brilliant set up by Zelina, as Andrade blindsided Rey from behind, beating up the former world champion before hitting Rey with a trio of suplexes. You know, the Three Amigos from Eddie Guerrero…
However, Rey knows that move too well. He countered the third one and set up Andrade for the 6-1-9. Andrade was more than game to counter, though, and he used his own move to send Mysterio a final message, nailing the wrestling icon with a Hammerlock DDT.
Tag Match Confrontation
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson catch up to Rusev backstage, and they talk some sense into Rusev for beating up R-Truth after he already defeated Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura in singles matches for the United States Championship.
Rusev tells Anderson to head back to catering with Gallows, and that sets Anderson off. He challenges Rusev and Nakamura to a match, and they accept. As the segment ends, Rusev tells Nakamura that he will team up with him this one time, but warns Nakamura not to screw him over.
This Nakamura and Rusev tag team could have some legs to it…
More importantly, it’s great to see the Good Brothers on our screens!
