Jungle Assault Nation vs Queen’s Quest

This was the first match for Iida as an official member of JAN after her debut against Natsuko Tora earlier this month. “The Little Giant” will have a lot to prove as she stands shoulder to shoulder with Natsuko and Jungle Kyona against, perhaps, the most dominant group in Stardom today.

JAN took control early with a triple team on Momo Watanabe, though she was able to fight back from underneath with a series of stiff kicks on rookie Saya. Not content to kick her by her lonesome, AZM would lock Saya in a camel clutch while both Momo and Konami took turns pelting her chest with kick after kick.

Konami and Kyona had a brutal back and forth with Konami focusing on the still-damaged arm of Kyona with a number of armbars all over the ring. AZM and Saya would find themselves back in the ring once again with Saya nearly getting the pinfall.

Everything descended into brief madness from this point with the ring filling with members from each team taking one another out. Saya looked ready to stand tall against AZM but fell victim to the top-rope double stomp to give QQ the victory.

After the match, Momo was joined by Utami and mentioned that Utami had been picking up the wins in their tag team matches as of late. Momo promised that she would be the one to pin Natsuko or Kyona in Osaka. Natsuko rebutted calling the QQ duo vain and telling the pair that she would hit them with all of their power.

Thoughts: This match served as a preview, of sorts, for the January 27 Goddesses of Stardom Title Match between champions Momo and Utami defending against Natsuko and Kyona. As a preview, it served its purpose well in delivering a massively hard-hitting contest between the two factions without giving too much away. Saya looked good in her second match as the rookie who refuses to stay down as she fought back valiantly against JAN before succumbing to Natsuko.
