2. The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection Defeats Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross

With all of the post-Rumble hype surrounding WrestleMania, it might be easy to forget that there are still two more pay-per-views to go before we reach ‘The Showcase of the Immortals.’

One of those two shows is Elimination Chamber, which will feature it’s self-titled match used to determine who earns the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Qualifiers for that match began last week, yet this week will likely feature the most intriguing tag team encounter before the new titles are put on the line.

Sasha Banks and Bayley, perhaps now better known as the unfortunately named Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection, will take on a new pairing of Alicia Fox and Nikki Cross to determine who earns Raw’s last spot in the Elimination Chamber.

While I don’t think anyone should really be expecting Fox and Cross to come away with the win, this match could easily prove as the basis for a new and exciting tag team.

Cross and Fox have naturally complimentary gimmicks to one another, plus are both underrated and entertaining in-ring performers. Pairing the two up could be one of the best things WWE does during the build to the Women’s Tag Title match.

Regardless of how fun it will be to see the new tandem of Fox and Cross though, as I alluded to before, Banks and Bayley should come away with the win here. They’re likely the favorites to win the Elimination Chamber match itself, so any other outcome for this bout would truly be a shock.
