1. Mustafa Ali Picks Up A Major Win Against Randy Orton

Momentum seems to be the name of the game this week on SmackDown.

Besides Rusev and Nakamura, Mustafa Ali and Randy Orton will also square off against one another in an attempt to build some momentum.

Both superstars are going to be real threats inside the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match, but only one superstar truly deserves the win here.

Mustafa Ali has been on fire on SmackDown lately. He’s quickly connected with audiences, putting on exceptional performances against a number of WWE greats along the way.

That trend should continue against Randy Orton this week.

Orton is still one of the blue brand’s most popular and accomplished superstars, so a strong showing and victory against him would do wonders for cementing Ali as a major world title contender.

Orton, for his part, could then easily attack Ali after the match with a signature RKO out of nowhere if WWE were intent on ensuring ‘The Viper’ stays as dangerous of a threat as possible before Elimination Chamber.

Overall, the 3 matches scheduled for SmackDown this week do look like they have the potential to improve on some of the questionable aspects of last week’s episode. Hopefully, Ali’s match, along with Bryan versus Hardy and the tag team match, all deliver the makings of a great episode.
