4. Dean Ambrose vs. EC3 Could Be A Great Feud

Out of every NXT superstar that was being plugged for their main roster call-up in recent weeks, many fans would say they were most excited to see EC3.  He was a top superstar in both NXT and TNA in recent years, but fans wanted to see what EC3 could do on the main roster in the WWE.

Last night gave fans that opportunity when EC3 joined Alexa Bliss on her talk show, which predictably got interrupted by Nia Jax and Tamina.  Jax flapped her gums for a while before an unlikely superstar decided to interrupt her interruption.  Dean Ambrose came out and for a minute, you could see flashes of his old character, which could be something to look forward to.

Ambrose insinuated that Jax has a crush on him before he turned his attention towards EC3.  He joked around with him in a serious matter by not letting him answer any of the questions he asked.  This would eventually lead to EC3 taking a shot at Ambrose before the two would square off in a match for EC3’s debut match on the main roster.

The match was pretty short, but it accomplished what it needed to accomplish as EC3 got the surprising win by rolling up Ambrose and shocking him in the process.  Although this was just one match, this is a feud that could be a great one moving forward if the WWE goes in that direction.  This could also turn Ambrose back into the joking babyface that fans loved for several years to battle the arrogant and brash newcomer in EC3.

The story could write itself if the WWE decides to further this interaction between two vastly different superstars.
