1. Does Kurt Angle Have WrestleMania Plans?

Fans were ecstatic to see Kurt Angle head into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2017 after more than a decade away from the WWE.  The WWE universe got even more excited when Angle parlayed that induction into becoming the GM of Raw, a position he held for over a year.

However, thanks to Baron Corbin running amok, Angle was basically removed from his duties of GM in favor of Corbin.  Angle also had a run in with Drew McIntyre back in November that ended with McIntyre making Angle tap out to his own ankle lock.  It felt like Angle’s WWE career was on thin ice, and after a loss to Corbin last week, it felt even more imminent.

Angle came out to address the WWE universe last night and just when it looked like he was about to retire, Corbin interrupted and started running his mouth.  McIntyre would follow and he said this would be the last time fans would ever get to see Angle in a WWE ring because he and Corbin were going to take him out.  However, Braun Strowman came out to give Angle a hand, in particular hands given to Corbin and McIntyre.

This led to a main event match last night featuring Strowman and Angle against Corbin and McIntyre.  The match was solid enough with Angle putting forth a solid performance, but Strowman’s temper got the better of him and it resulted in a disqualification.  McIntyre and Corbin tried to finish the job on Angle after the match, but Strowman countered by taking them out.  This begs the question, does Angle have plans for WrestleMania moving forward?
